A distinct, evenly distributed lavender colour gives this Type A jadeite pendant its character, with subtle milky-white, cloud-like nuances adding depth within the stone. Its hue is a distinct yet gentle lavender rather than vivid purple. In the gallery’s observation, the lavender remains clearly discernible under different indoor lighting and daylight conditions, without readily appearing washed out as the lighting changes. A high-gloss polished finish draws broad reflections across the full, rounded face, accentuating its smooth contours.

The decorative jadeite piece positioned above the peace disc was fashioned from the jadeite removed from this pendant’s centre. Both elements therefore come from the same original piece of jadeite, creating a connected design with a harmonious colour relationship.
