Material & Design / 材质与设计

This is an exceptionally icy natural Type-A jadeite (冰种). A stunning piece that combines a fine-textured appearance with high translucency and a luminous surface polish. Light plays across its curved contours, giving the pale ground a softly glowing quality. The jade-appreciation term 水头好 (high water content/translucency) refers to this impression of visual luminosity, not literal water content.

作品以“冰种”形容其清透观感，质感细腻，通透度高，表面抛光莹润。光线随圆润曲面流转，令浅色底呈现柔和光泽。赏玉时所说的“水头好”，指通透与润泽的视觉感受，并非实际含水量。

Flowing scrollwork and rounded borders express the Ruyi motif, whose name means “as you wish”. The softly curved forms give the design a composed, graceful presence, balancing traditional ornament with an understated contemporary aesthetic.
